Sewing Room

The Embden Community Center is a place for everyone to come together and learn valuable skills. Our Sewing Room is fully-equipped with sewing machines (including a serger machine), fabric, yarn, and craft books that you can use to practice skills or to work on community projects. Our knowledgeable volunteers also offer help in quilting, clothing design, and learning how to do alterations. Schools can also schedule events here to give students an opportunity to learn these skills. Come join us at the Embden Community Center and make something special.

Donations of cloth, sewing supplies and yarn are also accepted during times that the Sewing Room is open.
